How to Check Your Voicemail Remotely
You can check your voicemail from any phone, even when you’re out of the office, by calling into your phone system and logging into your voicemail box.
Step 1: Call Your Business Phone Number
Dial your main business phone number from any external phone (mobile or landline).
Step 2: Reach Your Extension’s Voicemail
You must reach the voicemail greeting for the specific extension you want to check.
This can be done in one of the following ways:
Using the Auto Attendant:
Navigate the menu options to select your extension number
(Example: If your extension is x101, choose the option that routes to x101)Via Call Transfer:
If someone is in the office, ask them to transfer the call directly to your extension.
Note:
If your extension’s voicemail is the final destination for incoming calls, simply calling the business number may take you directly to your extension's voicemail greeting.
Step 3: Log In to Voicemail
When your voicemail greeting begins playing:
Press the star (*) key on your phone keypad
When prompted, enter your voicemail password. If you do not know your voicemail box's password, please email: support@soundcurve.com
Troubleshooting Tip
If pressing the (*) key does not prompt you for your voicemail password, your voicemail access settings may need adjustment.
