Step 1: Establish Two Calls
To start a conference call, you must first have two active calls on your phone—one on hold and one live.
There are two ways to set up the second call:
a) Receiving a second call:
While speaking on your first call, you will hear a beep and see the second call appear on the LCD screen.
Press the Answer soft key. This automatically places the first caller on hold.
b) Making a second call:
While on the first call, press the Hold button.
Next, press New Call, dial the second number, and press Send.
Step 2: Join the Calls
Once you have two calls (one active and one on hold), you can merge them:
Press the Conf soft key (labeled “Conf”), located under the LCD screen. On most Yealink phones, this is the third button from the left.
Both calls will be joined into a single conference call.
Tip: You can press Conf during any live call to dial out to a third party and merge them into the conversation.
