Setting Up Your Voicemail on a SoundCurve device

Follow these steps to set up your voicemail and record your greeting:

  1. Access the Voicemail box

    • From the extension you want to configure, either:

      • Dial *97, or

      • Press the “Msg”, “Message”, or Envelope icon button on your phone.
(The label varies depending on your Yealink model.)

        Model Reference:

        • T3 Series (T30/T31/T33): usually labeled “Msg”

        • T4 Series (T42/T43/T46/T48): typically shows an Envelope icon

        • T5 Series (T53/T54/T57): often labeled “Message”

  2. Enter Your Password

    • When prompted, enter your voicemail password.

    • The default password is 1234 (we recommend changing this after setup).

  3. Go to Advanced Options

    • Press 0 for the Advanced Options.

    • Press 1 to record your Unavailable Greeting.

      • This is the default greeting callers will hear when you don’t answer your extension.

    • You also have the option to record:

      • A Busy Greeting – played when you actively reject a call.

      • A Temporary Greeting – used for short-term situations (such as holidays or personal leave). This will override your Unavailable Greeting until it is deleted or expires.

  4. Record Your Greeting

    • Follow the voice prompts to record, review, and save your voicemail greeting.

If you need a customized greeting to play for a specific amount of time, please email support@soundcurve.com, and an agent will assist.
