Welcome
Welcome to SoundCurve! This guide will help you get started with your new phone system and serve as a quick reference for common features.
If you are interested in a feature that is not currently enabled on your account, please contact your Account Manager or our Support Team.
Getting Started
Accessing Voicemail
To access your voicemail:
Press the Message (MSG) button on your phone.
If your phone does not have a Message button, dial *97.
Enter your voicemail PIN when prompted.
The default PIN is 1234.
New messages will begin playing automatically.
Security Recommendation: Change your default voicemail PIN after your first login.
Recording Your Voicemail Greeting
Press the Message (MSG) button or dial *97.
Enter your voicemail PIN.
Press 0 for Mailbox Options.
Follow the prompts to record your greetings.
Greeting Types
Unavailable Greeting
Played when you do not answer a call.
Busy Greeting
Played when you are already on a call and another call reaches your voicemail.
Common Phone Features
Placing a Call
Internal Calls
Dial the extension number of any user within your organization.
Local & Toll-Free Calls
Dial the 10-digit number, with or without a leading 1.
International Calls
International dialing must first be enabled on your account. Please email Support for more.
Once enabled, dial:
011 + Country Code + Phone Number
Transferring Calls
Blind Transfer
Press Transfer.
Dial the extension or phone number.
Press B-Transfer or complete the transfer as directed by your phone model.
Transfer Directly to Voicemail
Press Transfer.
Dial *99 followed by the extension number.
Press B-Transfer.
The caller will be sent directly to the recipient's voicemail box.
Placing a Call on Hold
While on a call, press the Hold button.
To resume the call, press the flashing line key or Resume.
Call Parking
Call Parking allows a caller to be placed into a shared parking slot where any authorized team member can retrieve the call.
Benefits include:
Frees your extension to handle additional calls.
Allows coworkers to retrieve the caller.
Improves call handling during busy periods.
Please contact Support if you would like assistance using Call Parking.
Checking Voicemail
You can access voicemail using any of the following methods:
Phone
Press the Message (MSG) button or dial *97.
Voicemails can be delivered directly to your email inbox as audio attachments.
Online Portal
Log in to your SoundCurve account and navigate to the PBX section to view, play, or download messages.
Remote Access
Call your SoundCurve phone number, press * during your voicemail greeting, and enter your PIN.
Remote voicemail access is disabled by default for security reasons. Contact Support to enable this feature.
Call Forwarding
Call forwarding can be configured through the SoundCurve portal.
Log in using the credentials provided during onboarding.
Navigate to My Extension.
Configure your preferred forwarding options.
