Sangoma Talk Mobile App – “Expired Authentication” Error
If you’ve received an email invite for the Sangoma Talk mobile app and see an “Expired Authentication” error message when clicking the included link, this means the link has expired.
Why This Happens
Invite links for Sangoma Talk are only valid for 24 hours after being issued. After that window, the link automatically becomes inactive for security purposes.
How to Fix It
Do not reuse the expired link. Once expired, it will no longer allow login or activation.
Contact a Support agent to request a new invite link.
Once the new email arrives, open it promptly and follow the link within 24 hours to complete your login or activation.
If you’re switching to a new phone or reinstalling the app, note that you’ll need a fresh link each time.
Additional Tips
Make sure you’re using the most recent version of the Sangoma Talk app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
Open the invite link directly on your mobile device (not a desktop computer), as activation must occur within the app.
If the link still doesn’t work after receiving a new one, try deleting the old email, restarting your device, and clicking the new link again.
For users setting up the Sangoma Talk mobile app, please open the link on your mobile device only.
