Problem:
The Sangoma Phone Desktop App is showing errors or not working properly.

Resolution Steps

  1. Log out of the Sangoma Phone app

    • Right-click the Sangoma Phone icon in your system tray (bottom-right corner of Windows). 

    • Select Log Out.

    • This clears your session and closes the app properly.

  2. Restart your computer

    • A reboot clears background processes, resets memory, and helps the app start clean.

  3. Reopen and log in to Sangoma Phone

    • Launch the app again and enter your credentials.

    • If you don’t remember your password, use the “Forgot Password” option to reset it.

  4. Test the app

    • Once logged in, confirm if the issue is resolved.

If the Issue Persists

If the app is still not working after completing the steps above:

  • Reinstall the Sangoma Phone Desktop App

    • Uninstall the current version from your computer.

    • Download and install the latest version from Sangoma’s official website.

  • Check for Network Issues

    • Confirm that your internet connection is stable.

    • A weak or unstable connection can prevent the softphone from registering properly.
